ABOUT: Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi, is honoured to invite papers for its 2nd "International Conference and Doctoral Colloquium on 'Transformative Social Science Research: Disciplines Geographies and Think Tanks'" to be held on March 3-4, 2015.

Aimed at providing a progressive push to the social sciences re search, the conference will majorly involve discussions on current status of social science research in various countries, its existing and future trends in diverse disciplines and a viewpoint from knowledge-rich think tanks. PROGRAMME OVERVIEW: Health care in India is a recession proof and dynamic industry with unprecedented growth potential. The quality of health care in the corporate sector hospitals is of international standards. India has become the medical destination of choice for patients from all hemispheres. This encouraging scenario has its own promises and challenges that must be addressed by the leadership of public, corporate, and stand-alone hospitals and health care facilities for their sustainability and achieving the desired outcomes.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE: CEOs, Hospital Administrators, Hospital Superintendent, Chief of Medical Staff, DepartmentHeads of Finance/Administration/Human Resources/Nursing/Support Services. Members of Hospitals Governing Board would benefit from being exposed to the intricacies of managing a hospital successfully. In addition, hospitals can identify the future leaders within the hospital who need to be exposed to the ways and means of managing hospitals effectively.

VENUE: The Programme is fully residential and the participants will be accommodated in air-conditioned single rooms. The College does not provide accommodation for the family. Transport between Airport/ Railway Station and venue will be arranged by the College. The Bella Vista campus of the college is WiFi enabled in a comprehensive way.

DURATION: The Programme duration is from Monday, February 16, 2015 to Friday, February 20, 2015. The participants are expected to arrive a day before the commencement and may leave after the conclusion of the Programme.

PROGRAMME FEE: Rs. 47,000/- (US $1600 if foreign) plus Service Tax @12.36% per participant will be charged to cover tuition, board and lodging, courseware and other facilities of the College including internet usage. Local participants not availing hostel accommodation will be given a discount of Rs.1,000/- per day for the duration of the programme.
An Early Bird discount of 5% on the basic fee will be offered to the nominations with payment received before January 16, 2015. An additional discount of 10% is offered to the second nominee and onwards from the same organisation.  It is clarified that the total discount for any participant would not exceed 15%.

MEDICAL INSURANCE: The nominees are requested to carry with them the proof of Medical Insurance. The sponsoring agency is required to endorse the nominee’s medical coverage in the event of hospitalisation.

LAST DATE FOR NOMINATION: The duly filled in nomination form along with the Demand Draft made in favour of “Administrative Staff College of India” payable at Hyderabad should reach the Programmes Officer by February 02, 2015.

LAST DATE FOR WITHDRAWAL: February 09, 2015. Any withdrawals after this date will entail forfeiture of fee paid.
