ABRM utilises double blind review process for all submitted papers.

ABOUT: National Productivity Council is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. NPC Plays a catalytic role in productivity promotion by undertaking consultancy, training and research assignments in frontier areas of management and technology oriented disciplines. National Productivity Council is organizing residential training program on “Enhancing Organizational Productivity through ICT” from January 15-19, 2018 at Ooty.

TARGET AUDIENCE: The programme is designed for officials working across different functional areas of management including administration, finance, personnel & training/HRD, etc. from state and central Governments departments/ministries, Public Sector Units, Financial Institutions and/or Academic and/or Research Institutions.

NOMINATIONS/PARTICIPATION FEES: Nomination indicating the name(s) of the participants, designation, contact address, e-mail id, phone/mobile number and FAX number etc. along with a crossed cheque/demand draft of participation fees on residential basis is Rs 48,000/- + 18% GST amounting to Rs. 56,640/- (Fifty Six Thousand Six Hundred and Forty Only) Per Participant. POSITION VACANT: Senior Research Officer, TCI-TARINA, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, New Delhi.


COMPENSATION OFFERED: Gross compensation budgeted for the position is Rs. 24 -30 lakhs per annum.

TENURE: The successful candidate shall be issued an initial contract for a period of one year, extended annually based on performance. Please note that the project is funded through November 2019. The contract shall be executed by TISS as TCI is housed in TISS in India.

5,000 years of Indian science history on display, at the Science Museum, London, until 31 March 2018

The exhibition aims to redress the Eurocentric bias of science history.

An exhibition that opened this week at the Science Museum in London, UK. run by Illuminating India, until 31 March 2018.

Highlingts:
  • First written zero on a 1700-year-old birch bark manuscript
  • Oldest artefact is set of weights that standardised mud brick production
  • Exhibition at UK’s Science Museum in London

A light scattering technique invented in the early 20th century and a fragile manuscript documenting the earliest known symbol for a numerical zero are among achievements of Indian science highlighted in an exhibition that opened this week at the Science Museum in London, UK.

Illuminating India, which runs until 31 March 2018, marks 70 years from the country’s independence by celebrating global contributions to scientific advancement, as well as photography, from 3000 BC to the present day.
