About: AIMS, Kochi in association with Joanna Briggs Institute of Evidence Based Medicine, Australia with faculty from University of Toronto and University of Liverpool. Health Technology Innovation Center, IIT Madras, would act as the technical collaborator of the course.This course is empanelled by National Accreditation Board of Hospitals & Health Care providers (NABH).
Health Technology Assessment is an evidence based practice for conceptualisation, recommendation, selection and use of health technologies for aiding patient care or in selection of interventions to improve health care delivery. Experienced international and national faculty would participate and share their expertise. It would cover the basics of Impact Assessment (IA) in selection and use of health technologies, by methodological approach, conduct systematic reviews to measure clinical effectiveness, economic modelling and learn harm-benefit assessment through an integrated patient safety approach.
