It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the 12th International Human Resource Conference to be held at the Management Development Institute, India during December 10-13, 2012.
The conference will bring academia and HR representatives from all over the world to congregate, interact and exchange views. The conference will serve as an ideal platform to stimulate and build upon ideas resulting in professional and academic development.
The first International Human Resource Management Conference took place in the late 1980’s and for more than 20 years has been held biennially. IHRM Conferences have been hosted in Singapore, Hong Kong, Ashridge (UK), Gold Coast ( Australia), San Diego (USA), Paderborn (Germany), Limerick (Ireland) , Coimbatore (India) ,Cairns (Australia), Tallin (Estonia) and Santa Fe, New Mexico and Birmingham (UK). In December 2012, 12th IHRM conference will be hosted in Gurgaon (India), at Management Development Institute.
Aligned with the conference theme, we invite submissions that cover conceptual, theoretical and empirical investigations that adopt different methodologies and highlight the context-specific nature of IHRM systems. Papers that address but are not necessarily restricted to the following topics are especially invited:
1. Emerging Business Landscape & Innovation- Challenges, Issues & Implications
2. Innovation capability alignment with organizational strategy & firm performance in emerging sectors for global outreach
3. Green footprint, Grass root & sustainable Innovation: The Global challenge for integrating change
4. Networking and Innovation strategy- Implications for Global village, mergers and acquisitions
5. Innovative global talent management in different sectors: Challenges for Leadership
6. Innovative & Strategic People Management Practices: Global International HRM Implications in diverse sectors
7. Respecting Ethics, values and culture for global -- innovations sustainability
8. Managing the demands of virtual , transnational organizations, teams & managers in emerging sectors
9. Managing Power & Politics for sustainable innovation in the global workplace-- Leadership challenges
10. Transnational Virtual Unions in emerging markets
11. Challenges in Transnational Organizations
12. Less is More in the Global Village
The conference programme will consist of keynote speeches, symposia, competitive paper sessions, interactive paper sessions, and career development workshops for doctoral and early career researchers.

Early Bird Registration fee for International delegates - 300 US Dollars (Latest by 30th September 2012)
Registration fee for International delegates later than 30th September 2012 - 350 US dollars
Early Bird Registration fee for Indian Academic delegates – Rs. 6000/-
Early Bird Registration for Practitioners without paper presentation-Rs.10,000/-
Registration fee for Indian Academic delegates later than 30th September 2012 – Rs. 8000/-
Registration fee for Indian delegates from Industry – Rs. 15000/-
Registration for Research Scholars – Rs. 4000/-
Please note Best Papers which are internationally reviewed will be considered for a special Issue of an International Journal with high Impact factor, and Practitioner papers and case studies will be considered for an edited book by a publisher of repute.
