ITEC-MEA Fellowships for 6 International Training Programme at EDII, Bhat/Gandhinagar (Gujarat) INDIA.
ITEC has sanctioned fellowship slots for participation in 6 international training programmes, with full sponsor support. These 6/8 week training programmes are sponsored by the ITEC Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and will be conducted at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India in Ahmedabad, Gujarat (India).
Keeping
in mind the overall SME development in your country, we request you to
kindly disseminate this information among relevant institutions such as
Chamber of Commerce & Industry, educational institutions, and
organizations engaged in industrial development, thereby enabling them
to avail benefit of the rigorous academic courses.

Fellowship Support
The fellowship will cover the following:
· Tuition Fee
· Air-Conditioned accommodation on single-occupancy basis
· Living Allowance (Food Expenses + Out-of-Pocket Allowance)
· Book Allowance (in the form of Course Material, Cases, CDs, etc.)
· Air Travel (Economy class) to Ahmedabad, India from your country and back by the shortest route
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII)
The
training programmes will be conducted by
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an acknowledged
National Resource Institute for entrepreneurship education, training,
research, and institution building, with a view to encourage
entrepreneurship development and investment promotion across the globe.
Application Process:
Please note that the applicant has to submit the application online
in accordance with the standard procedure. Physically filled
in application forms will not be accepted. The online application has to
be password protected.
The process of online registration has started, and for your ready reference, step-wise guidance for filling the nomination is given as under:
2. There go and click ‘Apply for ITEC’. There click "APPLY NOW'.
3. From the list of streams available, select ‘SMEs & Entrepreneurship’ as EDII programmes fall under this category.
4. Then select 'Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India'
5. Select the course from the list of available courses – for instance, ‘Entrepreneurship & Small Business Promotion’. Click on ‘Apply’.
6. Select your country under ‘Nationality’ (Please do not click on 'Secretariat' as it has an altogether different routing). Click on ‘Proceed’.
7. Start filling up the form.

Password policy: The password policy is that in the text box enter the
password with a minimum length of 8 letters containing at least 1
special character, 1 numeric, 1 alphabet in upper case. Please remember
the password for future use and do not share with anyone.
One has to fill-up all the boxes without missing any of them.
How to submit the Application Form:
Participants have to submit their applications directly to the Indian High Commission/Indian Embassy in your country and not to us as
we do not play any role in the selection process. For this purpose,
after filling up the nomination form, please ask them to get it
endorsed by the Nodal Ministry in your country (as advised by the Indian
Mission) and thereafter, submit it to the Indian Mission for their
endorsement.
They
may please send the scanned version of the duly endorsed nomination
along with scanned copies of relevant documents (educational
testimonials, English Proficiency Declaration duly signed by you and Medical Report duly endorsed by a Registered Physician) to the Indian Mission on their e-mail id, which can be obtained from the website of the Indian Mission in your country.
An
Applicant is not to attach any documents while filling in
on-line application except to enter the required information asked for.
However, they are required to attach the same with the hard copy of
their applications which is required to be submitted to their Nodal
Ministry duly signed by them.
Nodal
Ministry is different from Embassy of India. In each country, a
specific Ministry has been identified as a nodal ministry to endorse
the ITEC nomination form. It could be Ministry of Industry &
Commerce or Ministry of Education & Cultural Affairs so on and so
forth. The participant may have to check up this aspect with the Indian
Mission in their country.
The target group eligible for admission is from the age of 25 to 45 years.
PLEASE NOTE THAT A PERSON WHO HAS ALREADY ATTENDED ONE ITEC COURSE WITH FELLOWSHIP SUPPORT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY AGAIN.
