About: The lectures have both theory and practical components throughout the training course. The M.Phil.,/ Ph.D Scholars / Faculty Members are eligible to participate in the training course and only 25 seats are available.

Registration: The registration fee will be charged from the participants as follows:

@ Rs.800 for Lecturer / equivalent

@ Rs.400 for Scholars getting fellowship

@ Rs. 200 for those without any financial support.

The participants should give from one to two page write up on their research (methodology) along with their application. Interested candidates can send the registration form and fee in the form of Demand Draft in favour of The Course Director, Department of Economics, Periyar University, Salem – 636 011. Lunch, refreshment and course materials will be provided. For any information contact the Course Director. The amount will be refunded to the candidate not selected for the training course.

Last Date: The filled in application should reach to the Course Director on or before 28th October 2011.
