Last Date for submission of application form: Friday, May 09, 2014.
Eligibility: At least 50% marks or B+ on an eight-point scale at the post-graduate level in any of the social science disciplines (e.g., Economics, History, Sociology, Political Science, Cultural Studies
[Literature, Film Studies, Philosophy etc.], Development Studies, Environmental Studies, Geography, Social Anthropology, Education). Candidates from non-Social Science disciplines may also apply provided their degree is equivalent to the Master’s degree.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will have to sit for a one-hour written ‘Admission Test’ and will be called for Interview only if they qualify the Admission test. The final selection will be made on the basis of the student’s performance in the Interview.
The tentative dates:• Admission Test: Monday, May 20, 2014.
• Interview: Tuesday June 3, Wednesday June 4 and Thursday June 5, 2014
• Results (on web-site): Monday June 9, 2014
• Admission: Monday June 16, 2014 and Tuesday June 17, 2014
• First day of session (Orientation): Wednesday June 18, 2014
