Applications are invited for one Post-doctoral research fellow to work on an ICSSR sponsored project titled, Trade Unions and Collective Bargaining in Urban Labour Markets: The Case of West Bengal.
The candidate must have a PhD in economics/political science dealing
with issues related to labour. Experience in conducting quantitative or
qualitative surveys is desirable. Those who have submitted their PhD
theses recently may also apply.
A consolidated amount
of Rs 40,000/- per month will be paid to the fellow. The appointment
would be initially for one year, extendable by one more year on the
basis of evaluation. The fellow must be prepared to join the institute
at a short notice.
